Wow..whata year eh? last ride in June....DANG! As with many, its summer clean up time.....for me me that includes yanking the motor and addressing some issues...while im in there I would like to replace the stock oiler cable with a more updated version. I am aware that F.B.F has an excellent product, but if i understood him correctly he will not be supplying these untill next fall again. So, would u guys be able to suggest another company that i could search that also has an updated more intelligent design that i could install that u guys have had success with in the forum. Thank you

I've been around here for a while with the 900's and dont know of any other option to the stock system or to FBF's (Claude) cables.

Tooling and minimums are an issue with these cables.

I would imagine if you can get a small group of people together that will pre-pay for the cables, you should be able to get some yet this summer.

Anyway, Conctact FBF directly and ask him what a solution might be. There may be some floating around on someones shelf unused (or even a good used one)... Put up a WTB thread in the Swapmeet section. You may have some luck (Have you already checked the "Mini-Swap" at the top of the 900 section... you can also put a WTB post in there.

Thanks MH....well i was hopin that I may have started the seed with the previous post of starting a group to buy a few from him for some boys that were doing some summer rebuilds like myself. Last year i started watching/documenting oil to gas ratios after completed rides and inspecting the oiler cable frequently to avoid a burndown. Probably wont yank the engine fer a bout another month any way so ill keep stirring things up to find one. Hey since i have you on the line.....bout halfway throught the season i started gobblin! up belts so im changing mounts this summer....i have read many posts regarding this and it seems after much debate "many people" have settled upon going back to stock mounts away from compfusion because they may have a little more flex..what is your take on this? Thank you for your input.

I have yet to PM him, but I'm gonna be needing one myself now.... 4K miles and the stocker finally wore out - sticking pretty good
