Throttle cable extension help

I have a 2005 ski-doo 1000, i put 10" risers on an of course the throttle cable is too short. I put a power madd extension on but it shortened the cable up so much inside the sleeve that im not even able to hook it back up too the throttle flipper. Is there any other kind of extension you can purchase or a longer throttle cable?

throttle problem

I had one of those on my 2002 ski-doo summit and it ended up snapping last year. I know how much of a pain it can be. But i got a longer throttle cable for cheaper and its great i cant remember what its called. But if i find out ill let you know.

hope this helps

i did this also with the same sled, but without a problem. there should be ample adjustment on the junction box. also be sure you pull it out all the way, then use needle nose pliers to keep the cable as long as it can be before threading it through the flipper. getting an extra hand from a friend makes a big difference. take a pic if you still can't get it.:beer; post pics when done

i used a universal kit, added 10". for how simple it looks, its a 2 person job (atleast for me). its a lot easier with someone to hold throttle cable and give slack rather then fighting it the whole time.
