Throttle body's sticking when going to WOT

i recently had mine off to replace the reeds and after putting them back when i got to WOT the last oh 1/2 to 3/4 from the throttle to the handle bars is were you can feel it grab and stick. It feels harder there not like the rest of the range of motion. I know its the throttle body's i was able to push the cable back down with ease. When it sticks i have to take a screw driver to throttle body's and push it up.

On a second note i thought it was the oil pump linkage since when i took the screwdriver to it the linkage was coming down slowly but i disconnected that and same result. I am guess when i had they off before the linkage went the wrong way and took all the tension off that spring...how many times do you need to go around so that it is right. the service manual doesn't say anything just says don't let it go around.. lol.

Any ideas what that this could be before i take another deep plunge and tear it down?

Got it to not stick ...now not Sure about oil pump

make sure you check that the closed throttle position marks line up! if you put new reeds and didn't install the boots exactly how they are from the factory it will affect your oil pump settings. Make sure it didn't go down and back up the wrong way!

It only has to go around until the springs are touching, you don't have to keep turning to make more tension.

I have seen a few sleds where a zip tie on the throttle body cross tubes catches the linkage at WOT...I move the zip tie and harness piece over to the fuel rail. Something to check

i think it was something like this or one of the springs on the tb was bound up oh well i cleaned them all up working like new...

i was talking to a mech who used to work at our poo/honda shop, and i was talking to him about the linkage and the spring and he thought that you shouldn't be able to spin the pumps arm all the way around? he thought there was a spot in it? and he thought i should replace the pump well i hooked it all up got the spring on put it at 5 oclock pointing toward the mag side. Started my sled pulled the oil line going to the pot side and after a min or so i really couldn't see the oil moving so i grab the hanger that i had on the oil linkage only and about 5 sec later i could see oil moving at a slow but steady rate.

This sound about right? not much oil at idle...and my pump is up 3 turns i guess i dont know if open all the way if its enough either? just not sure on how much it should really be pumping
