Throttle Bodies popping off (fix)??

What is the best most reliable way to keep the throttle bodies from popping off and not leaking with boost?? I don't care about getting them off again I just never want to dick with them again.

I have heard some people say to glue them or silicone?? Is this true if so what works best?

Between these popping off or the intercooler boots popping off or the clamps breaking I am always having trouble. I want to take care of it once and for all before this season so I don't have to mess with any of it this year and ruin my riding time. I am going with these http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/appages/oetiker.php clamps for the intercooler boots and maybe throw some hairspray on them hoping I won't have any trouble with them anymore. What should I do for the throttle bodies so I never have trouble with them again??

Thanks

Glue them on using a product called the Right Stuff. Clean everything really well then give the alu a real light go with some emory then glue them. On all my builds I always also add some form of mechanical system as well like brackets or straps tieing it all together. Its a giant PITA trying to fix those on the mtn.

On high boost diesels and cars they will have a rod and a tab on each side of a boost hose connection so that the pipes cannot physical blow apart, and as m5 said use the right stuff made by permatex for throttle body

Thank You

Yeah I have made metal straps for my old Twin turbo Dmax from turbo to intercooler pipe and never had trouble again.
Does anyone have a picture of how they strapped or bracketed there's down? Is there an easy way to strap it?

X3 works perfect :face-icon-small-hap

With the impulse inter cooler being bolted down how are the throttle bodies still managing to pop off? Is there stil enough flex in the setup?

I would think if you have the intercooler bolted down and you have a good blow off valve and you are still blowing the throttle bodies to engine or throttle bodies to intercooler boots off , you are back firing thought the intake.:face-icon-small-con fueling/ timing maybe:light:

Last year I kept breaking the intercooler boot clamps and then I think the air would push by. I have had the throttle bodies leak before.

Is the support at the bottom of the intercooler being used as well ? Go and buy some good hose clamps , not some from wally world . make sure every thing lines up and sits nicely in there . also maybe change out you're silicone boots for some newer ones and start fresh .
