Throttle adjustment

I had to replace my throttle block on my 12 pro. When I put it back together my throttle cable is not in the right position so when I start the sled it revs really high and shuts down. Obviously my throttle cable is out of adjustment. How do I adjust the throttle cable so it's in the proper position? It looks like is sitting in in the right spot in the throttle block.

1st, make sure that the end of the cable is snapped into the flipper correctly, then the adjuster is a few inches down the cable, covered in a rubber boot.

Follow the throttle cable down from the throttle to where the handle bars are bolted onto the steering post. There you will find a rubber coated sleeve that is hiding the adjustment screw for your throttle cable. I adjust mine to where there is just a small amount of "play" in your throttle. "Play" as in slight movement in your throttle lever prior to it engaging the pull on the cable.

Not a great explanation with specific terms...I do apologize ahead of time.

Ok, I figured it out. There was a c-washer that I had to remove in order for the end of the throttle cable housing to sit correctly in the throttle block. Man, I suck at this mechanical stuff!
