Throat Mic to a Garmin Rino

not that model, but the extreme, and the motorsport one...and they dont work well at all...

atleast my experience has been very poor with them...

I have a throat mic. They aren't TOO bad to use, but not perfect.

It's hard to hear when you are riding even a stocker sled.

I have been curious to try one or hear more reports. They will never be perfect but could still be useful.

yeah, the issue is, if you try and use VOX, it still comes on with engine noise...

the best ones for riding (wish they would used FRS or GMRS radio signals) is the Collett PLatinum or whatever model...

I ran my PTT button down my sleeve and put it in my glove. It's easy to operate one-handed.

Wonder if the 4 strokes would trip the vox. Back in the day with collets the vox had a sensitivity adjustment so you had to scream then it would activate. They worked pretty slick.

Any vox adjustments?
