doing the homework before I buy one. want to know if the three long tracks (155 inch and up) on 14 or 16 feet 3 place open trailer works? I know the middle one will be sticking out long at the rear.

I think you need at least a 16 footer. those sleds are about 10 and a half feet long each. Two side by side and a third wedged inbetween I'm guessing it CAN be done on a 14, but might as well go 16 and it will be less hassle.

Definitely go with a 16 ft trailer minimum... Your 3 sleds tucked in tight all facing the same direction will be about 17 ft long.

I had no problem getting three long tracked sleds on a 12' long v-nose trailer (see the red sled on the back).

I would question the load rating of the tires on such a light trailer with 3 fully loaded sleds. I have an 18' enclosed (dual axle) and it is about right for 3 long sleds all loaded from the front.

I sold that trailer but the axle load was rated to 2200lbs.
