Thoughts? Own 2013 LE pro with boondocker turbo, own 14 Assault stock - want to swap

I think you should trade your '14 Assault for a '14 Pro Rmk 800 with less than 30 miles on it and call it a day :-) My dealer said no one in Colorado ever buys an Assault which is why they didn't even stock them.

Seriously, I think you are doing the right thing by keeping the Assault Pro and swapping the turbo into it. You'll have a sled that should be more durable than a pro with better frame reinforcement and suspension. However, if you ever change your mind, you got my number!

Take care
Drew

The assaule is far beffier than the pro. Do it, you will love having a turbo assault.

I would take the track from the pro and put it on the assault as well.

the track on the assault is the same track:) all snow checks this year came with the pro track. I am waiting to hear back from Erik to get this party started. Hopefully drop off the sleds next week after my trailer gets the furnace fixed. The assault is a far better built sled, just wasn't sure what y'all thought.

How is the Assault a far better built sled? Because it has a chain case and different shocks? The A arms are better? My oh my how fast people forget how weak those are too, they bend just looking at them. Trust me I know, owned an assault along with multiple pros. Bracing? There is only one extra cross support bar in the rear skid between the pro and assault (which I install on the pro as well). The tunnel, bulkhead, etc is the same. There is no doubt the WE Needles are a better shock for jumping, but the pro is a better boondocking sled due to its rail design (less tip up on the front of the rail) and the lower/narrower front end which makes it transfer and feel lighter on its side than the assault. For the money, the Assault is a good buy for a person that like to jump, but I still am partial to the belt drive pro for my type of riding. That is the question you gotta ask yourself before you buy.
