Thoughts on Craig, AK area?

Just wondering what you guys think of Craig?

Pretty sure there isn't any sledding on the island, but it looks like one hell of a place to live.

Of course no sleds.... where are you from? Craig makes small town america feel HUGE!!! Excellent hunting and fishing. Lonely, rainy isolated from the world as far as everything else is concerned. Your sled will make a good boat anchor and thats about all it will be good for. What kind of job are you looking at getting?

Roses? or Ruth's or something or other on the dock downtown is a good place to eat though!

I don't know I think if you could get them to open up some of the land that has been logged off there would be good riding on POW. Craig/Klawock is a small community but the weather can be real nice in the summer, there are some beautiful lakes and streams to fish. I think if you go out around Naukati or Whale Pass you may find areas where you could ride.
