thoughts on buying a used pro

with all the 800 problems out there would you guys risk buying a used 12 800 pro? im looking at that or possibly buying a new 2014 600 pro, i do love the 600 pros ive ridden so dont try to talk me out of it because of that. anything i should look at on a used pro?

the 12 800 is a pretty good motor, just slam a set of pistons in it at around 1200-1500 miles. (or one of the many "fix" kits)

Yeah I see that one, if carls put the motor in ask if it comes with warrenty, if so its a good deal there, cant beat that price if they did the motor install ect

nothing wrong with a used pro

turn oil injection up 3 turns
install one of the fix kits or rk tek drop is pistons which wouldnt be a big deal, its a used sled show it some love with new topend
balance primary (optional, p85 isnt as bad as doos tra)

ride the piss out of it for 3000miles
