I bought a new enclosed trailer should I seal the plywood with Thompsons water seal? I plan on putting something down on the floor for the ski's to run on any suggestions I would like it to be smooth but I might have to just use groved runners.
Not an enclosed trailer, but I have been putting a fresh coat of Thompson's on my trailer every summer to help keep the decking from deteriorating prematurely. Super-Glides also work great to keep the carbides from tearing up the decking. I think it will be hard to find a smooth coating that wouldn't be slippery when wet/icy and still hold up to the carbides.
