Thompson Falls riding areas?

I was up in Thompson Falls this past weekend and fell in love with the area. Are there any riding areas in that area. What is the riding like up there?

There are some pretty good spots around here. Especially if you don't mind driving about an hour away. I even have a spec house for sale for you for cheap.:D

It will be about two more years before I have enough coin saved up to buy a place out there. I will probably buy a empty lot first and then go from there. I really like the Trout Creek area and have been looking at real estate there.

What and where are the riding areas at that are close to T-Falls that are good?

What kind of riding do you like? Trees and boondocking, or cliffs and chutes. There is some smaller good rides up Prospect Ck which is on Thompson Pass. Or if you go to Troy you can get into some good steep gnarly stuff.

Trees, boondocking and meadows. I havent rode on the mountains much so I am not experienced enough to take on the deep gnarly stuff and chutes and cliffs.

Research the area a little better, fine line between good and bad communities in that area, Plains is great, Thompson very scetchy, Known as the meth capital of montana! So buyer beware!

Don't let em' scare ya'. It's not ALLLLL chutes and steep stuff. Keeler is a great place to go. Lots of options for various levels of ability and tons of country to explore.
