This photo says a lot...our own Skadi, Pack River 4-13-08

Glad to see the sled stopped and didn't keep rolling toward you. Hope it didn't hit you and your okay. You look like you have some gymnastics back ground. Hopefully you'll look back and think, "wow"!

First... Em, I'm sure you are a bit sore from that one... but hopefully not injured? :beer;

And yes, Em is a great rider!!!!!!:cool:

Oh my gawd Brady, the GENERAL FORUM!??!?! Now EVERYONE knows?!?!?! hahahahaha, my pride is grenaded now!!! Anyway, here is what I posted on the Spokane thread. To fill the rest of you in on the story who aren't on that thread.

'hahahahaha, dang, ya, that looks pretty painful!! there was one where I was COMPLETELY upside down, that must have been on my second flip, I didn't realize I flipped twice! whooo-hooo, style points eh?! hahahaha!!

Ok, the story: I was lookin at it from below watchin a few of the guys hittin it, they were hitting more to the right and though it was bigger to the left there were fewer tracks so I thought the landing might be softer... I haven't dropped a cornice ONCE this year so apparently I was a bit rusty, maybe I shoulda thought of that BEFORE I decided to go big!!! hahaha! I didn't walk it before, I knew the line I wanted to hit but I did't know quite how it looked from above. it looked bigger than I was ready for and that MOMENT of panic and lack of throttle F#CKED me royally!! Anyway, next time I will work up to it, pratice a little bit and get used to that void, I wasn't ready for it and I froze...

Ya, I rag dolled pretty good. Chewed up my beacon and have a bruise in my stomach from that. My knees slammed into the side panels and breake one -which is ok cause I wanted some black ones anyway! I have four knee caps this morning due to the swelling! Yikes!! My head hit the snow pretty hard on my first flip, I was a little foggy and had a headache. I'm still a little sore today but no concussion or anything... Thank goodness for my years of rugby to give me a strong neck and head!! sled should be ok too and hopefully next week I will be sporting new side panels -with venting!!'

and yeah, when I was on my feet after the second flip I was lookin for that sled!!! I posted on the Spokane thread an official thank you to the resuce sqaud, although I was fine, cause through the fog and being focused on making sure I didn't need to run from my sled, I heard 4-5 sleds start and RIP up to make sure I was ok!! Griz track just sat over there giggling snapping pics!!! hahahaha!! ;) Kiddin, thanks for gettin it all Griz! I'm sure some day after I drop a few RIGHT and regain some of my pride, I will look back and laugh!! ;)

Ok Chicka, I give that a 10, but the question is, how does the "Beer Trick" compare to this stunt. Difficulty factor, technical, style, humiliation, recover time, all that stuff. LOL.

Glad your OK you knuckle head! Sounds like a few days of soaps and Oprah for you.

"Could someone pass her the Ibuprofin and Gatoraid please". EW

If I would have had the same concentration I use when doing the beer trick... and scouted out my landing area... I woulda been fine!! So apparently I take the beer trick more seriously!!! hahahaha!
