This is my most favorite time of year something starts to stir deep in my guts (Not Dave's salza either that stuff rocks!) the leaves start to turn the temps come down football starts baseball is getting real good and its time to breath life back into our mountain goats!
I played baseball and a little football, I loved being a part of a team were the strength of the unit is greater than the sum of the parts its a amazing thing to be around. As I watch the pros in the dugouts or on the sidelines I love to watch them experience this feeling to see them joke back and forth to see them share pain and deal with it to watch them win when the odds are not on their side.
When my stuff got jacked I was blown away by the sincere offers of help, I kinda expected it, but not to the extent it was. I'm not sure yet what this season holds for me I am certain I will at least make a handful of rides, and this is where I hope all this babble makes a bit of sense you guys are MY team!! The mountains we have conquered the meadows laid to waste the take no prisoner days have been amazing! The comradery that has been forged in good time and bad is rock solid. I can tell (real easy usually) when someone just doesnt get it. And I'm not talking about the dudes at the church picnic, some of the folks who own sleds and profess to "love" the sport. Yeah yeah Kev that's great now can we go, that was said to me years ago at the snow show, your just gonna tear your stuff up, loading after the 1st snowfall,loading and driving past miles of prime riding areas to be with the buds who make it all more than operating a ohv with extreme prejudice! I hope my boyz are as pumped as I am! Thanks again fellas & Gals this is definitely my favorite time of year. Sorry for the rant I was just really FEELING it today!

I agree with you.......I love this time of year and that really sucks about your summer misfortune. Seems like there is a good "team" here. I am the new guy on the block, I have been heavily involved on the DOOtalk forum the last couple years and only recently started participating more in Snowest-Utah. As the redshirt freshmen look forward to becoming a part of the team and getting to know more of you. I have met some really great friends through sledding.
