Myself and two others fell in one on the Coleman Glacier in
1973 when I was 15,not a good time as Howard broke his
leg. We were lucky that it had a flat floor were we landed
and the Mountianers were having a training course at the
toe of the glacier and got us out in 6 hrs or so.
It was 60 feet deep. You might be able to jump the opening
but if you saw how the opening is arched from the inside
you will have second thoughts of ever doing that.
Not worth your life.

They were coming down from the top and one guy went through. Got out OK after a few hours
