This has got to be a 2010-2011 M8 pipe doesn't it?

I am just now getting my cat put back together for the year. I bought this pipe back in November with the ad stating it was off a 2007 M8. It looks to me like its off a '10 or '11.

I need a pipe that will work for a stock 2007-2009 M8...

Or am I just smoking something here?

It does have the D&D y-pipe on it, but that shouldn't cause any offset on the single pipe at all right?

The HO pipe turns towards the right foot well that pipe turns straight down. It will fit , make it :)

Ok, so I took the D&D y-pipe off, it is exactly the same length as the stock y-pipe, so that rules that out.

I cannot for the life of me figure this out. I am looking at my old BD turbo install manual and they have a front picture of the stock sled, it almost looks like the down pipe in that picture is longer than the one I have or something?

The bulkhead appears to be totally straight on this sled .... this is really pissing me off hahaha ...

I can't make it fit though, its just too far to try and push. I'm using all the stock gromets in the silencer, etc

Problem solved. The pipe pictured above that I got off eBay had been modified. it is in fact too short on the flange end. Look where the weld is.

On the original pipe, that weld would have been covered by the heat shield.

I wound up finding another pipe for the sled yesterday and it fits perfectly, but now I appear to be having electrical issues :(

But yeah, it looks to me like somebody cut this pipe off to put a turbo flange on it (so its shorter) then welded the stock flange back onto it, painted over it, and sold it on eBay.

Problem here is that when I finally found a pipe I didn't have the sled back together so I had no way of knowing it wouldn't fit back in november when I bought it.

But yeah, pipe is wrong and in the trash now, new pipe is on and happy.

Now if I could just figure out why I can't get a blip on the MFD when I pull the rope I might get to ride this sled this year yet lol
