Anyone ever been there? I know that real estate values are low right now. I can buy a house there for what I can buy a lot here. I love the heat and the idea of being able to boat 300+ days a year is a good thing. We're looking at it as a kind of fall/winter getaway.

Yes, spent 6 months in that area....if you like HOT, that is the place to go! ...you will see lots of topless women too.
It is definitely desert and they do have one kick a$$ golf course. You better be good to play it! I don't know if we will allow you to be on a snowmobile forum any longer though! hehe
