Thinking of buying 2013 pro rmk 600

The crankshaft bearings just went on my 2000 rmk 800:frusty: so i called a dealer that also parts out sleds who will give me $1200 if i trade for one of their new or used sleds so im trying to decide between the new pro ride and a 2008 rmk 600 with 4000 miles. Has the pro ride been a reliable sled and what are the weak points? Is it worth paying the $12000 or isnt it much better than the 08?

The new 11 thru 13 pros are no comparison to the 08 sled.

I had an 07 600 RMK and while it was a great sled my 13 600 pro will run circles around it! I'd love to tell you more but whenever I give my opinion on a 600 I've got someone who gives me a thumbs down for my post? :face-icon-small-dis If you want more info between the two you can pm me. Both are good sleds though.

I'd get a 13 600 in a FLASH if I could. My son needs something better than that 4 stroke phazer.

BTW, if people are posting from their phone or something, fat thumbs cause those thumbs down things to happen. Guilty of that myself.

Don't sweat the rating system on here... It's childish at best and doesn't serve a purpose as far as I'm concerned! Free thumbs up for ya! Later

Yeesh did I read that right? $12,000 for that 600 Pro? I'd sell mine for less than that with less than 200km on it lol...

If I am not mistaken the 08 600 was carburated. That right there should be enough to swing you. The 08 600 weighed in at about 475 lbs dry, the 13 Pro 600 comes in at 417. The new Pro Ride chassis flat outperforms the IQ chassis, period. Get the '13 if you can afford it.

Go Pro

Bought a 13 ProRMK 600 for my wife this year, and have ripped around on it a bit. It has a 2.5 CE, Z Broz spring package, PAR head, HPS can, & a Carl's Cycle Clutch kit. Awesome little sled, it will in fact hang with the new 800's everywhere but a point & shoot climb. It will get a 660 kit in the off season, and I suspect it will be the funnest sled she has ever owned at that point (she had a modded M8 162" prior to this unit). Go for the Pro, you won't regret it.

At 12000 your paying him to take your old sled. Take the new sled for 9000 keep your old sled for a reason to go to haydays. Happy X 2
