Thinking about going to Yamaha

Hello from a guy that has almost always ridden AC's and a few Polaris mountain sleds.
I have questions about switching, and hope to get some straight answers.
On the Yamaha paper and online brochures I see no HP or weights listed.
Is the new FX Nytro M-TX 162 about the same weight as an AC M1000 162?
Are they nearly the same HP & Torque?
Does one work better than the other for boon docking an high marking?
Also they carry little fuel due to the small gas tank, does it limit their range badly?
My M1000 already lacks range with its bigger tank, so I carry a gas can, and worry it may restrict me on where I can go.

I hear this forum is the place to get the answers, so hope to be helped.

once an AC guy

I made the switch from my m1000 to a turbo nytro I will never go back. only thing to note is you will not be able to boondock the same, other than that if you switch to yammy, make sure you turbo it up.

Horsepower at 11000 ft: AC 125 ish, Nytro 90
Weight: AC prbably 570's wet, Nytro 610 wet
Reliability: AC good but its still a 2-stroke, so prepare eventually for rebuild, Nytro is 98% reliable, you an put 15,000 miles on a yamaha easy

The good stuff:
1) Ditch the AC
2) Buy a 2010 or newer Nytro 162 SE and install all of these parts listed:

Titanium A-arms= 11lb loss and $900 bucks (alternative impact)
WR 450 battery= 10lb loss and $100 I think I spent (I have run one in my apex for 4 years)
Timbersled drop brackets +7-8lb loss and $150
Lose the stock muffler and crap
Lose the stock seat and crap---- buy Mtn. mod seat
Buy an after market sus. I use the yamaha lightweight (actually an AC setup), 18-20lb loss and $900--LOVE THIS SUS.

At this point weight will be at 545-550 lbs wet (thats polaris pro weight)

Then freakin turbo it --- take your choice on that one $ 5000 to $10000 w/ all gadgets

HP @ 11000ft is whatever your wallet dictated

No other sled will touch you ---- except another lightened T-bo yammy

Total $$ I have spent
$10,000 for sled 2010 Nytro SE 162
2500 for lightweight parts
Can't decide on turbo but I think MPI @ $4000 plus clutch parts @ $300
