Really it comes down to clamping force and not burning through your plates, the little teflon pieces and even the entire disk.. I have friends that did not go the full set up even for dirt riding and in a year they go through everything an do am still on my original parts with no issue... we are all equally as stupid on our bikes ... to me you get a much better clutch feel with the whole set up but I still use my clutch here and there...

Try your bike before you go dropping tons of $$, you may find you don't need the Rekluse you can always get it at a later date. I've ridden bikes with them and haven't gotten off the bike saying WOW I need this, lots of guys love them other guys could care less.

Used to have it.... it was ok but decided that manual clutching was more for me. However in the summer on gnarly single track it's the most bada$$ mod I've ever done. One day when I can finally get a dedicated summer bike I'll have a Core EXP again.

there is only One model available for the 450 and its 899$

No, they have several models. EXP, Core EXP, Core Manual.

Here is the lowdown. Rekluse will not recommend the EXP for snowbike use because of the additional loads placed on the system. I have been running an EXP for 3 years, with 2 of them snow in the winter and it is all good. We sell 70% EXP clutches and a lot of guys run them in the snow. The CORE EXP is the best setup for snow..........if you wait a few weeks we will have the new TORQUE DRIVE EXP. It will retail for around $699 and has double the plates with the auto clutch feature and should be the best of both worlds.
