Think Snow!!! Forecast might just have sum!

Just got done reading the forecast discussion at NOAA-sounds like are weather is starting to change- the jet stream is shifting to open up and push some of this high pressure out!!!! let it snow

Vail Resorts must think so, they are running some special where they will give you 50% off if it doesn't snow 12" during the week. Thats a brave move if you ask me.

I hope so! this storm is kinda sleeper, the cold front is the one that dropped 18 ft in Ak. If we can get it to connect with some moisture over the GM it could be kinda big. If it hits Vail pass it could stall out and be even bigger. Lot of if'sss just keep your fingers crossed

Just read this on NOAA on their forecast discussion:

WE SHOULD SEE THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL OCCURRING FROM THE GRAND MESA
EAST TO ASPEN AND CRESTED BUTTE. WILL NEED TO KEEP AN EYE ON THIS
AREA AS FORCING FROM BOTH SYSTEMS BRINGS SNOW. TOYED WITH THE IDEA
OF ISSUING A WARNING FOR A FEW OF THE ZONES IN THIS AREA...ALTHOUGH
TIMING REMAINS A MAJOR CONCERN AS WE ARE ONLY ANTICIPATING ABOUT
18 HOURS OF DECENT SNOW PRODUCTION.
