Thieves caught at Crystal Springs Snowpark/Stampede

Today around noon we went back to my truck at Crystal Springs Snowpark to get a bite to eat. The sherriff and a park ranger were parked in front of my truck when I pulled up. Apparently all the rigs before mine were broke into or had their locks punched in trying. The Ranger just happened to see them (2 guys) and went to check them out. The thieves were just going down the line of vehicles and seeing what they could get. The 2 idiots jumped into their car, and took off. Apparently a Game Warden was close by and headed them off before they could get out to I-90. Then, the fuggers jumped out of their car and started to run into the woods. They were caught a little while later walking on the other side of the Freeway. Sounds like they may have been the bastads at Gold Creek last week also.

To top it all off, the brand/model of their car was a Suburu Outback, and it was not stolen. Registered to one of thieves.

But to be on the safe side, take valuables (wallet, phone, etc...) with you or keep them out of sight.

Outstanding, by the account of this & their actions, it sounds like they were a couple of pu$$ies.
Glad they left my truck alone last weekend at Gold Creek - maybe it was the HK sticker in the window...

Ugggh. All the stereotyping and false accusations.

Subaru/Outback drivers are conservatives too so the stereotype does not fit. :)

My friend is a Republican PCO in King County and drives this car.

Ok fair enough but, I've always thought it was an odd place to have that level of crime constantly happening. There's no love loss between sledders and cross country skiers. I'm not pionting the finger just making an obsevation. There may in fact be no connection.

Well that makes more sense. He is a snowboarder, so if you look at it as an "us versus them" (unpowered snow users and powered snow users) then it works.

Actually, for many years, the commerical ski areas at Snoquailmie Pass have been the target for car prowls, ski/snowboard thefts. When those pastures dry up, heading east to the next few snow parks is not much of a reach?

Anymore I feel safer taking my stuff ,if you did lose your wallet, cell, whatever with ID on it odds are a sledder would try to get it back to you. Good to hear that they caught at least a couple, theives suck!!!!

Any help

Hey I could use any info on the 2 caught, just a liscence plate # will work. I can do the rest. I might be able to pin an identity theft on them also. Just don't know for sure if it's the same boy's a few weeks back on me down the Kachess road.
