Thieve in Cooke City MT.

Two weeks ago my 900 was stripped of all parts why in Cooke city.

Stolen were the following
2005 SLP Exhaust
HPS can
Fly Handel Bars
ODI Grips
Moose Hand Warmers
Fly Handel Bar Pad
3” ROX Riser
Throttle
Team Secondary Clutch
2 Drive Belts
4 Iridium Spark Plugs
BOSS Seat
Entire rear skid
Assortment of Snap on tools
Polaris Tool Kit
Polaris Gas can
SPY Goggles
Gas Cap
Spark Plug Boots
Side Panels
SLP Vent
Head Light
Gauge Cluster
SOS Tree Saw
SOS Copper Swirl Aluminum shovel

And some more stuff I am sure I am missing.

They also destroyed my custom painted hood. The sled was stuck and left in the mountains for 6 days because I couldn’t get back up to get it out.

If anyone seen some one by my 900, parked just off of lulu, between the 27th and the 3rd taking parts off it, please let me know or call me at 406-224-0067.

I am told that Articat R/D team was up there so does anyone know how to get a hold of them?

Wow, what a bunch of *******s. I always freak out about someone stealing stuff from my sled when I leave them out, I've done it once with my RMK and then once with my IQr this year and it was nerve racking waiting to get back up and make sure all is still there. Hopefully someone coughs up some info, riding isn't cheap guys and it's a hell of a lot more expensive when you've gotta replace gear and equipment when we should all be planning our summer mods and fall purchases! Good luck man.

Don't take this the wrong way, but what took you 6 days to get back up there to it?

If it was stuck on a climb way up there how did you get it back down?

I remember seeing that sled on the side of the road / trail on lulu pass. There wasn't much left. Thats rough man. I was riding up there the 28th and the 4th, but I didn't notice anyone near it. Hopefully, Insurance will cover it..

I took both my sleds, my 05 900 and 05 IQR and i took a friend who has never been snowmobiling before. I was jumping my IQR 40-50 feet up on top of Daisy when i broke the drop down brackets. It was early in the day and i had just put a new clutch on my 900 and fixed some other stuff se we both took it down off daisy and we were taking turns riding it around. We were down there maybe 20 min and i decided to try and climb out up one of the chutes but right before i got to it a hit a 2" tree that was cut off ust under the snow line. Pitched me off the handle bars and i watched my sled roll down the mountain. So we walked out. I went up that Friday to get it but we got up there at 7:30, and it was raining. We were almost out when we got stuck going over lulu. It was dark and it started to rain and thunder so we had to leave.

When we went over Daisy, thunder struck about 50 yards away and blinded/defined me. I could feel it strike, felt like some one punched me in the chest, thought it was kind of cool

Then we got back to the truck and we had a flat tire and no spare se we had to leave ou trailer with a 600 rev and a 700 Polaris sitting on the daisy rode. Went up there and they stole my entire ear skid off of my trailer and the rest is history.

I couldn’t get backup again because i didn't have the money and i had to work.

They were in my REV sitting on my snowmoble trailer. I also hat allot of snap on tools stolen... probubly used them to take some of the parts off...

i was wondering if anyone ever screwed with all the stuff at the pilot creek pk lot in the winter!!sure is alot of stuff parked out there..one reason we just drive to town insted of the pk lot!!

If i were you very night id search these parts on ebay or google it and if you find the dumbsh*t, say you want to come by and look at the parts or get his address(to mail the cheque to) Open the door and kick the living cr@p out of him. I ***** at people for sitting on my sled, let alone stealing my pride and joy and everythhingg i own!. are there any cams on the highways/roads in the area or parking lots?

On a different note, I saw you are looking into building a IQR mountian sled. Is that because your other one got chopped?

I'm living in Gillette, WY for the summer. I'm actually from the Upper Peninsula in Michigan though. But I bought a sled for my friend this summer out here. So I had to go try it out for him...

I'm hoping to move out here next year though.

Not too new, been lurking for a year or so, I just generally don't post unless I can add to the conversation. Hence my low post count.
