These guys would no longer be my friends!!

Years and years ago our friend broke his ankle in a similar looking sled accident. We made him walk home a half mile and told him to shake it off.

He showed up to school the next day in crutches.

We felt bad.

For about 15 seconds. Then we showed everyone the video of it. LOL

He still hates us.

Sorta sad, but we've all been there and done that. Someone else's pain can be so dam funny! This kid looked a little messed up though.....baaahahahahahaha!:face-icon-small-hap

I guess my sense of humor is a little different than that. I would never let one of my friends wander around like that, after a tumble like that. He would be in the ER getting checked out. Looked like a probable concusion. I've never found humor in someone getting hurt.

Yep, that is my thought exactly!

how old are you

not that it justifies it but in my youth I would have been less likely to think he needed to go to the hospital. Now that I am older I guess I have learned that you can get hurt and make it worse trying to walk it off.
there was also a guy who ran around with us who did the dumbest things all the time, we didnt really care if he hurt himself and actually only let him hang because he was so dumb, (he had his front teeth kicked out and replaced trying to ride a bull, 3 times). this guy may be the same way.

...and I was waiting for another tuber to wipe his arse out just as he was trying to walk...:(

LMFAO!!!!!! Sorry, was thinking the same thing, or a snowball to the nuts....

Was kinda bad tho, looks like he compressed something in his neck/back..... not good.

Well I have been on the broken end of that one ! We were playing baseball and I snapped both the bones in my leg sliding into second. The oldest kid in the group would not let any of the others help me. All the while calling me a puzzy and so on.

I would much rather have had the broken leg than the beating my older brother gave that poor bastage the next week at the bus stop. And I thought he was mean to me :eek: DONT PHOOCK with his punching bag was the moral of the story!;) I guess!

That is true, I know what you mean!!

I'm thinking possible concussion myself. Looked like it hurt the kid. We did similar things snowboarding a lot. But the guys I snowboarded with were pretty tight, and we knew when one of us got hurt bad enough. Other times we laughed like those did, but sometimes we needed to come off the mountain.

A move like that, even though fun and harmless, COULD sever your spinal cord or break your neck, then he becomes a paraplegic :( I'd kill myself if I became wheel chair bound, too active. That WOULD be the end of the world for me.

Back when I was in high school my best friend and I were at an overnight lock-in where we were having a 2 on 2 basketball tournament. The first game he dunks, hangs on the rim but lets go before he's vertical again and lands on his wrist. He gets up and says he's hurt. I tell him to shake it off and quit being such a Sally. We play that game and two more. (didn't win the tourney) After the weekend I come back to school to find out he's broken his right shooting wrist. I felt so bad!

Its definently a different thing with kids... myself and 2 buddies (about 16yrs old) were jumping my old yammy Enticer 340. Got my foot caught in the track in mid-air... sucked it up under the tunnel fracturing my ankle. The guys helped me into the house (were jumping in the frontyard) and left me with mommie:). After an hour or so on ice followed by a trip to the hospital, went home and spent the rest of the day on the floor. I wrecked around 11:00am... my buddies knocked on my door around 4:00 to see if i had ANY MORE GAS!:D Only when I answered no did they hangout to hear the details! Are best friends for life!;)
