Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is at it again, Catching steelhead in the fish traps and knocking them in the head and throwing them in the river. They quote these fish are an inferior species, Even after the 8 yrs. of record runs?

20 or so years ago DFW cleaned out all streams and Rivers of logs and dams so the fish could travel up stream. later they put them back with cables and rebar because it was more natural ? I know a guy who counts fish. So I ask him if he would ever tell us that things looked good. He did not answer. because if he did he would be out of a Job. Science maybe, Job security most likely.
