These early snowfalls are the ones that start to level out the terrain.
They fill in the holes and as it melts it falls off the high spots into the holes.
Er...something like that:confused:

I hope it continues and does not warm up and rain significantly since I live WAY too close to the Skykomish River and flooding just aint a whole lot of fun.

We got flooded pretty bad winter before last because there was a lot of early snow on the mountains and then it warmed up and rained harder than I'd seen in a long time.
My wife was trapped at home with 2 1/2 feet of water in the yard and I was stuck on the other side of the river for three days trying to get home.

These early snowfalls tend to make us a bit nervous.:(

I see you live in Fall City so you know what I'm talking about!
I drive through your town when we ride GC, Stampede or Cle-elum.

Gold Creek today...........................................

I went up to the pass today to snoop around, take the dog for a walk. It was cold as hell at the tower and blowing hard. Some white stuff on the ground but not very much. (It was hail) Some rain, chunky rain, hail. Some blue sky, some clouds. You know, if you dont like the weather just wait a minute. I got a few pics and saw some animals it was a good day! -00's
