I had planned on riding today with a friend from work but he backed out Friday about 5:30. I logged on here last night , and asked a couple of complete strangers if I could tag along with them today. Kurt (adrenaline junkey) and Lee (?) met up with me for an awesome day riding that otherwise would have been spent off the snow. Thanks guys and thanks SnoWest for this great community!

It was great to meet you and your welcome any time It was a pretty good day except for the fogging goggles but i think i got that fixed. here are some pic.

there should be some sort of thread for people looking for other people to go sledding with, perhaps in the riding areas section so it is more localized, might be an idea, I know I am always looking to expand my group of sledding buddies.

Seems like for one reason or another all my riding buddies are giving it up! I've heard excuses from too expensive to global warming and no snow, but really begining to think they are all just getting tired of digging me out

Nice! Good idea about a section, but most seem to post in area where they wish to ride. I think if you are looking to ride or your buddies bail hit the ridin areas and leave a post. My 2 cnts..

Yep! When my usual riding friends started to get old and sell sleds and jam out... LOL I put out the word on the forum and met up with some good folks and the riding continues. This forum has many good people, and they share the same passion, Sledding.

I had the same thing happen to me this weekend. Posted and was able to ride thanks to a fellow snowester(Squishman). Most of my family thought I was nuts but it definitely beat the alternative of staring at my new sled in the trailer.

I would never settle for less than my equal. I'm waaaaaayyyyyyyy too desirable to settle.

btw, I ride an '05 M7 and have an '00 700 RMK for anyone who is SUPER hot and doesn't have a sled. Females only for the loaner sled though...and I trade rides for rides.
