The Rousey train has left the track

Many of us thought it a fluke when Holly beat her Nov. '15.
Last night's knockout loss is evidence that she is not the unstoppable juggernaut we once thought.
What's next for her? WWE? Hollywood?

And now do we stop wishing for a Cyborg vs Rousey and simply look towards a Cyborg vs anyone in UFC to see she still the invincible warrior we made her out to be, way back when she destroyed Gina Carano? A lot of time has passed since that night. Few athletes can extend their prime to that extent. (over seven years)

lol...Rousey was never a great fighter, anyone that thought Holm's win was a "fluke" needs to shake their head.

she was good until the real talent showed up, her match last night looked like Tyson fighting Steve Irkle.

the real surprise was that Nunes only got $100K for the fight, and $100K for the win...Rousey got $3 mill.

she's a great fighter, but not a great boxer, and it was foolish to try and hang with Nunes standing up

Rousey generated the revenue, seems fair. Nunes payday will increase along with her star power
But for last night, people shelled out $ to see Rousey, not Nunes

My 2 cents, that's about all it's worth.

RR was always a one dimensional fighter and was incredible in that one dimension Judo. The fight game in mixed martial arts is always evolving and you need to evolve. She and her coaches did not seem to take that into account and she paid for it with another embarrassing event. You can look back at all the fighters that were one dimensional and they all had good success for a period of time and then disappear as the sport goes flying by them.
