This is the REAL 2016...

Key elements of the 2016 Polaris Pro Ultra Lite XMK (XM Killer):

Cromoly, aluminum, AND composite chassis
362 pounds
30" ski stance
13" wide track
144" length w/ 3" lugs
800cc 160 HP twin cylinder, reed valve inducted, electronic power valves, direct injected two stroke engine with center PTO for narrow width
Ohlins Suspension with electronically adjustable (manual and automatic modes) suspension

New ultra narrow design rides well on the trails to your favorite mountain areas, then performs in light nimble fashion as a snowbike would.

I can dream can't I? :face-icon-small-coo

Interesting, might not suit everyone but it would be fun!:face-icon-small-coo

It would definitely be specialized, but not as one dimensional as a snow bike. Maybe 32" on the stance would be better.

Think of the places you could go with that light of a sled. Crap, we need some snow so I can stop thinking up crazy stuff like this and just ride......

Hmm.
Lay down 800 center pto with electronic controlled car like cvt driving a beltdrive to the track.
I'm Thinking a 156x14x2.75 with 2.5 outtermost lugs.
Body panels 4" narrower on each side.
32" or so ski stance.
Overlapping asymmetrical a arm front suspension.
Low enough center of gravity to keep it from just flopping on its side.

Keeping the rotating mass in smaller circles will help combat the gyro effect.
Like skidoo with its tall chaincase and clutches up high.
With gimmicks it tips easy at first then the gyroscope effect resists change in direction. IE maneuverability.

Awesome! I was hoping that somebody would post that could think outside the box. Great ideas!
