The Peaks Lodge Revelstoke BC

Just to set the story straight, the peaks does have new owners as of November 1st. The new owners are Alek & Tara-Lee Sherman, they are great people and are into sledding, biking and quading. The preveous owner is there only for a short time to tidy up misc items. I am currently staying there and can assure everyone that this is a great place to stay. There is no other place to stay in Revelstoke that is this snowmobile friendly. Ride from your door to two sledding areas Boulder and Frisby, locked and gated compound for your truck and sleds, fuel on site (marked premium), drying room for clothing, hot tubes, they are getting the pub/restaurant going, good warm and clean rooms. What else can a guy/group ask for?
 
We stayed there 2 times before and never had any issues with the owners......i have to admit maybe he wasnt the most talkative person but his wife and the rest of the staff was awesome and more than made up for it
 
The Peaks

Used to, Was, the place to stay in Revy. When Mike and his wife were running it. Going to have to try real hard to sell some of us on how good it is now. We had 1 run in with the old owner and never again would we spend $0.10 in that place.
 
Just like the usual... a new season and a new announcement of new owners of the "Peaks". New new new!!!!

How about this.... When we see someone that makes a long term investment and sticks around for a few years, isn't a drug addict.... then maybe... and that is a big maybe, you might see people stay there on a regular basis. Until then you are bound by the mistakes of previous "owners". Hopefully that was reflected in your purchase price.

For the new owners... a parking lot that is plowed... a place where you can park your stuff and not have it broken in to... Food that is cooked... once you have that then food that is decent.....water that comes out of the tap clear...an owner that doesn't take your credit card statment and then proceed to charge other items days after you leave hoping you don't notice....Don't try to sell me BC bud... Don't drink while you're working. When you aren't working...someone else should be watching the place.... and finally.... cater to those that spend money at your place. You do that and you'll break a trend of the past 11 years.




As a side note, lets play a game of: "how many owners of the Peaks can you name since 1998?"
