With the republicans in control of congress from 1994 and the spending frenzy they eventually got into after GW got into office followed by the dems beginning to take control after 2002 and now in total control with Obama apparantly working on a trillion dollar stimulas package following a trillion in bailouts already passed by congress and approved by GW I would say the Ruskie is probably a better prophet than you think. I cannot see how thw USA as we knew it can survive with these fiscal nightmares. The economy cannot generate enough dollars to pay any of these debts no matter how high taxes are raised which leaves either the fed creating massive fiat money which will devalue the dollar to the point it will become worthless to the world or laying the whole cost on our children and grandchildren. The ponzi scheme will end at some point. And make no mistake both parties are equally responsible and until the american people wake up and realize the path we are on and start putting fiscally and constitutionally sane people into the house and senate we will continue down this path.
