I just traded my bike for a 2003 800 edge. This sled has a bunch of work done to it. I has a radiator that was moved to the fornt of the sled, pipe air box, reeds, reverse, some kind of adjustment knob to lean it out????? Also the guy took out the t. stat. Does any of this make sense to you guys? Is any of this good or bad or make sense. Like I said I am new to the sport

Yes a lot of it makes sense. Im thinking the knob your speaking of are power jets? I maybe be wrong though. Also the radiator that your speaking of confuses me, pictures would be very helpful! I have heard of people removing the thermostat, just make sure you let your sled warm up for a while before you ride.
The knob to lean it out could also be an ATACC system which is an automatic temperature and altitude carburetor compensation system.
