Bacon strips in the shorts are when you are running 100 + mph on a 3/8 dirt track and coming up on 3 lead cars wrecking ahead of you on the front streatch.
Roast beef is being one of those 3 cars knowing the rest of the 30 car field is coming up on you at 100 + mph with no place to go...
