Well, after a round trip of 2326 miles, we finally made it back from Idaho. Those of you who get to ride there are very fortunate. I cant believe how much riding there is up there. I've never rode out of two parking lots in one day. What a great place. A huge thanks for Idaspud for taking us out and showing us around. That ol boy can flat out ride. We rode Thursday out of FW and mainly above the upper payette lake, and then around Sater meadows. Then on friday, we rode out of Donnelly up on the ridge to Lady bug and 44 hill, till about 3, then back to FW and the upper lake. But, we had to cut our trip a day short. After seeing the forecast for Sat and Sun, we decided we better be smart get off the mountain before we spend a few more days. It was tough to leave with the thought of new snow rolling in, but my job wouldnt of thought that was a good enough excuse.
The trails were everything I have heard, and guys at Hinsons were great. Had a great meal at the mill and a great stay at the Super 8. No carnage or mechanic failures besides a few belts.
Here is a few pics, didn't want to stop and take many, but we did get some great video footage.
Thanks McCall for a memorable trip.
