The girlfriends first "mountain ride" yesterday

This is her first full season on the snow. She bought a Freestyle to learn on this year. We went out to Powder King for a blue blazer day yesterday and her first ride in the alpine. Needless to say I think she is hooked! She climbed some hills and found some jumps and we had a great day. I suspect a larger sled is not going to be too far in her future - lol!

I know exactly where you were riding. It's a great area to be in. Good for the both of you. My wife gave up riding because the helmet hurts her neck, so I envy you. I miss having her come along on trips now and no amount of begging will change her mind.

My 58 year old wife has two neck injurys. She uses a neck brace and rides dirt bikes, snowmobile, and PWC. Also we got the lightest helemt we could find.

She also wears a neck brace when we travel for more than an hour or so in the truck/car.

Also Ibuprophen starting the night before riding. Been riding this way many years and doing pretty well.



Don't know if your wife will change her mind, but thought I would pass it on.
