Hey all, I stumbled upoun this DVD in my facebook travels, i loved the filmography in the teaser video, so i pre-ordered it. I finally got it last week and had a chance to watch the full video last night. All i can say is WOW, this video is a must see! wicked filmography mixed with really good avy training. i would consider this movieto have just as good or better training then any book ive read on avalanche safety.
I will say that it is directed more towards back country skiing/snowboarding, but everything still applys to sledding in every way. There is a feature film that is amazing, followed by 4 training videos covering all aspects of avalanche safety. For $20 bucks you cant go wrong, even if you end up using it as a drink coaster, which i doubt you would! BTW i am not affiliated with this group what-so-ever, i just love this movie and want to spread the word. It would be cool if someone could sticky this, if not then cool anyways.
