The dollies for skis in the garage. whats the name?

what are the ones advertised that can drive on any surface?

thanks

I don't know about drive on "any" terrain, but the sure grips are drivable yes. Timbersled makes a set that is on like 8" Mini off road tires, and they work awesome too. But the most expensive that I have seen. I have sure grips in stock right now if you want a set, $99.00 shipped to your door if your in the states.

I use sure grips also and they would be perfect for what you are using them for.
Makes moving your sled around the shop a breeze.

Sure Grip Dollies. I have a set and they seem to be working pretty good. The only complaint is that the retention cap for holding the wheels on is a little cheezy. You assemble the dollies and once the wheels are on they supply you with a cap that is pounded on, and that is what holds your wheels on. I had one come off but I put it back on and it seems to be staying now.

I also have a buddy that has a set and he actually took all the caps off and ended up spot welding a small retention cap on.

For what it's worth, I picked up a set of harbor freight furniture dollies for moving my sled around in the garage. They work great for just sliding the sled around, btu would take a bit of modification if you wanted to drive the sled under power with them.

It probably would take a bit of chain and some eyebolts in order to grip around the skis, and for the 11 bucks I paid for each one, you really can't go wrong. I'm still on the cheap college student budget, so every little bit of money saved helps..
