The competition

I'm bored at work and can't find a thread about how the competition is stacking up. So I got to ask if anyone has played with a m1100T with a reflashed computer against a turbo nytro in the 240/270hp range? Not looking for a bashing thread just wondering if they are climbing with the nytros.

I've spent some time around a 11T with a boon docker controller(There seems to be no real difference when on 240 mode). Cat may have a product down the road but for the mean time they still have some kinks to iron out!

new cat

I rode one for a couple days cant really compare how it would run with mods as it was stock. I am used to a mc apex and it felt lacking, having said that for out of the box stocker it was pretty good. It is heavy but I am used to that, the skis suck and dart worse than the yamys. It spools really quick, has imediate punch and the blow off valve works great, didnt have the legs I am used to, expected tho. The power claw left me wanting, the maverick is a better track imo, and yamys track is supposed to be even better. Oh and the clutches built heat, belt showed checking in 50 miles of what I would call easy riding.
in the end I would say a stock cat would probably outclimb a push nytro on a hill, due mainly to the tipped up rails on the yamy. A set of iceage flat rails would fix that and tip the scales. beyond that both sleds have tons of room for improvment, me I am putting a mcx nytro together 270 on pump fuel and no clutch problems that are common with the cats.

Nicely said Julio. I am curious as to how they ride too. I would like to rent one once out west...
