I would like to know what everyone's favorite gear is. I have my personal favorites that I will share:
Gloves: Flylow www.flylowgear.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=24 I am not going to win a fashion contest with these but they keep my hands dry and warm. They are also cheap enough to keep an extra pair in my back pack to replace a wet or gasoline soaked pair.
Base layer: ice breaker www.icebreaker.com/site/icebreaker_man_bodyfit260_ls_crew.html I spend over a 100 days on the ski hill and this stuff keeps me warm on the coldest days it is a PIA to wash because you can't throw it in the dryer but it is worth the extra effort.
Socks: ice breaker again, keeps my feet warm lets them breathe plus they don't seem to hold odor. they also don't get holes in them as fast as other brands
Pants: patagonia rubicon
www.patagonia.com/web/us/product/mens-rubicon-pants?p=30642-0-155
These pants are tough and can stand up to snowmobiling plus they will keep you dry. I used to swear by the klim free ride pant but I prefer these now.
Ski/snowboard rack: CFR rack www.cheetahfactoryracing.com/catalog
Hands down the best rack out there it's quick and easy to use. Everytime I go out someone asks me where I got it because they like it so much.
Well these are my favorites, sometimes the best things in life are not the most expensive. Please share your favorites so I can add to my gear collection.
