Now I 'm mad! Everybody keeps saying that a small businessman can't make 250,000 dollars in a year. Well, I have got news for you. Anybody in this (soon to be socialist country) who is willing to work and I don't mean 40 hours a week, I mean 80 hours or so can make as much as they damn well want to make. I am retired now but ran my own grading company 26 years. In 92 and 93 when Bubba was elected I couldn't buy a job so from then on I was the owner and sole employee. In 94 I did 125,000 all by myself. 125,000 in 94 would equal close to 500,000 today so don't tell me I can't. Hey you guys McDonalds is advertising for help.

Dont get me started ! I'm here on sunday again!! I sick of "I CANT" So like you Its just me and my old man 7 days a week! The difference to me is this attitude that I owe it to society because I have worked my *** off for 20 years and have something to show for it ! Fu ck that !!! I am 34 and have worked the same job for 20+ years ! I took the school bus to work after school and have been driving forklifts since wayy before I could drive a car. So This 'share the wealth" B.S. should be "Do the work or starve to death and see if I care "

Agreed. It pisses me off that people who bust their asses their whole life are getting frowned upon. People always give my dad a bunch of **** telling him it must be nice being rich and having a bunch of toys. He says " I started working full time when I was 17, I'm 50 now and I've never been out of work or collected unemployment. So I guess I would be pretty ****ing stupid if I hadn't acquired anything over those years wouldn't I ?"

In my case, I went to fracing college for 10 1/2 years, working and going to school at the same time. I worked for the government to 6 years, 2 years at a small private company, and now 11 years for a huge company. So, any fracer that wants to tell me I didn't earn my money can go to heck.

I don't work manual labor, but you won't find a lot of people with my skill set. And, you wouldn't believe the stress in my job.

I didn't get any help from anyone other than my parents, so I don't owe anyone anything. Yha, it must be nice to work your azz off and then actually have something to show for it.

Oh, it must be nice to be lazy and have Obama cater to your every need.

Thanks guys. What really cooks my gruel is that I had a nice little toy and contingency fund built up through my own sweat and thanks to Black Obama, his outfit Acorn, Barney Fwank,Dodd and the rest of those leaches they have already spread 40 percent of it around to those scumbags who won't work. Happy day ,I have got to go do something else today. Maybe sit in a bar.

As a Christian, I firmly believe in helping those less fortunate.

However, I don't believe that simply giving to people because they do not want to work is helping them.
In fact, I believe it eneables them to continue living much like a leech, sucking the lifeblood they need from others, rather than fending for themselves.

In most cases, forcing them to fend for themselves would be more help than the current handout system.

The old addage "Give a man a fish & he eats for a day, teach a man to fish & he can eat for life" holds true.

Funny thing how all my life I have aspired to do better than my parents did and improve myself no matter how much work it takes and eventually get to and surpass that 250K a year mark. Now if Obama is elected and congress implements his tax plan (which they will) If/when I ever do make it to that mark I will be punished for it. So where is the motivation to do better. The motivation is to aspire to mediocrity, that is not what made this country what it is.

+1, Id say what I think about obama and his ideas but Id probbaly get kicked out of the forum..
