The 20 posts limit....one issue I see

Here is a thread that I started.

I drove the whole thread, I engineered a solution, posted pics hosted on a personal account of my own (using up my space for the benefit of SW readers), I posted all of my measured objective observations about the problem(s), and finally, posted the ultimate solutions...all for the benefit of the SW reader.

Now I can't even view my OWN posts and pics nor can I view any further questions from SW readers! Incredible. Should I pull all the pics?

I'm not a "pot stirrer" and this is the first questioning of the "new system" that I've raised. I think it's pretty valid, and deserves a resonable answer -though I don't think that a resonable answer exists, as I understand it.

That will remove all limitations and restore all privileges and add several new ones as well.

....I wish that there was something tangable to go with this "fee"!...perhaps like a 3 year subsription to the mag. I just find it odd, that all the forums I belong to; Doo Talk(70K+), Thumper Talk(256K+), BCR(2500+), KTM Talk (103k+) ,Can Am Talk (8,500+), Artcic Chat(43K+) etc., do not charge!

....even facebook with 400 millon members doesn't charge...



....but what do I know, I have only been on here for 7 plus years....

No, I do not think it unreasonable for you to ask me to upgrade....however, I DO think that it's unreasonable for me to pay to view my own, helpful, analytical, thread that arrives at a solution for many. Frankly, I think it's a little crazy. Just wanted to make sure that I wasn't "missing" something in the new process. Thanks.

so do I get compensated for all of the issues I've purchased in the past? otherwise, I still don't see what we'd be paying for. this place worked great for getting info for how long, and the majority of the info and solutions to problems didnt come from moderators, so why make people pay because the people behind the scenes wanted to buy some new stuff? I certainly didnt see anybody *****ing about how snowest was operating a year ago or earlier......I dont know who, or how many people asked for an upgraded system, or extra priveleges or what not, but it sure seems odd to make a move like this that will detract from your site.
