That strange part time Viper coolant leak

Seems the coolant hose that runs horizontally from the engine to the thermostat housing has a trademark in the sealing surface. Bizzare right? Ours did not leak until 500 miles and even then it was a few drips in the sled deck and almost always when cold. And yes clamp was tight.

But, knowing what I do now I would suggest if you get this leak to reposition the hose clamp as far as is safe to the end of the hose.
