Thanksgiving riding ideas...

Too early to give any real advice.
We "usually" have enough for at least road riding at the snowies or rabbit ears, but this early, your guess is as good as mine.

I remember WomingTA riding the Big Horns in Late October last year(I think anyway)

Togwotee usually has snow by then too but like Ollie said your guess is as good as anyone's.

Cooke doesn't get snow until January 1!!!

Be very careful wherever you go, with the family it could be expensive (repairs)!!!

Cooke has never let me down on Thanksgiving, but you have to know where to go (landmines). FYI- sometimes it's tough to find food if the snow is marginal! I'm going to wait until the weekend after this year, less traffic too!

we ride togwotee the weekend after thanksgiving every year. there is always snow but some years are better than others. sometimes blacks canyon in ip has enough to burn trails.

two years ago weekend before turkeyday the only two guys on the mountain friday all day and we did wipe out a sled worth every dollar my buddy spent fixin his sled just ask me good luck with the food deal make sure were your going to eat knows your going to eat in advance seem to work for us

I would put money on Cooke. If not there, then Black Canyon east of Island Park. In Black Canyon there wouldn't be as many land mines and would have more places to eat and stay.
