Finally, we have started getting snow! Some of us may have possibly, even got the sleds out, or even trailered up to the snow line, and run down the road and burned out some of the summer gas. What a wonderful feeling to be getting ready for another season of sleding!!!

I am a member of the Lagrande Snodrifters, and would like to thank all the clubs that belong to OSSA, and all other Clubs in other states, and all that they do to support our sport. So we can have groomed trails to ride on, warming shelters to get warmed up in, or have lunch with your family. This could not be done with out local club members, and OSSA. We as snowmobilers, are able to use and have this type of recreation due too numbers of participants, in OSSA, and local clubs. But not to forget S.A.W.S. and Blue Ribbon, just to mention a couple. So I am reaching out to all members, and those of you who, are thinking of becoming members, also those of us that have not given it much thought. Please think about joinging a local club, or at least becoming a member of OSSA. To help us keep enjoying groomed trails, and our great warming shelters, that are in many of our public lands that are open, and in place now. We can all stand together as a snowmobile community of large numbers, and help keep our public riding areas open.
thanks for everyones help.

Not to derail your thread, but how the heck is halfcase? He fired up for the season? Always enjoy reading your posts about him and his progress on the hill. My seven year old is heading West for the first time this year, can't wait to get him on the hill. Mom would let him go until now..

His mouth is a slobering mess, now we can see snow. He was ready here about a week ago, but we only had about 10". Had to beat him with a whip and a chair, in order to hold him back, LOL. Great to hear that you will be getting your boy out here this yr, hope he tears up the mountain sides! Might be a little slow to start the season this yr. I will be gone tell the end of the yr. (Work sucks this time of yr.). He will more than likely get out on the snow before I do this season. Grand parents take him alot of the time if I am not around, in the start of the winter. I am the only one that goes nuts with the pic's.
