Picked up my black 163 tonight (finally) after a two week shipping delay

Of course, to feed the jones I read every thread and post on the Pro, especially the technical threads. I took some notes and brought that info with me. I gave my new ride a thorough once-over at the dealership:

-Owner's manual review
-Service bulletin review (non affecting my VIN group)
-TPS linkage & dielectric grease
-Verified TPS voltage at 9.3 VDC on a real multimeter (thanks AKSNOWRIDER)
-Verified reverse, grip/thumb warmers

Picked up a 2.5 gallon jug of VES Gold (gunna use it all this winter!) and a spare belt ($188...my azz is bleeding)

Now to peel the decals off and get the A-arms re-coated black while I wait for rideable snow.

A big THANK YOU to the folks who made serious technical contributions to this forum. Also want to mention Jake, Mitch and Seth at Marita Sea & Ski. I know they run hot & cold with some folks but they've always treated me fairly.

And a last but not least...a shout out to fredw. He's right. It barely had enough HP to make it up the ramp onto the trailer.

glad you finally got it..now..what was the base voltage setting at? thats the money one,,,lol hey there is good snow out there right now..just gotta know where to look..glad she is finally home..enjoy..the permagrins start now...oh and heel heavy weights..umh..like 68 gram mtx;s with the blue/pink spring...ummm yeah thats about perfect for around here......

I would PM Boston Racing about buying black Z Broz A arms. Saves the powdercoating charge and get a much stronger arms with better clearance.

They had the multimeter hooked up to another sled being prepped for delivery. I asked the mechanic about mine but forgot the base voltage. He told me he checked mine Sat and offered to hook it up and show me. He said what you said that it should be 9.3-9.5, and that mine was 9.3.

I've got a quality multimeter. I print your post and check mine.

MS&S is resetting clutches for our altitude--blue/pink and 68s

First, congrats on the new toy!!

2nd, can you go into detail on these two??

THANKS!:face-icon-small-coo

Well after reading about the guy who lives 2 hours drive from the dealership and didn't realize his reverse didn't work until he got home...and the other guy who's grips didn't work on his first ride, I decided to make sure all that stuff worked before signing the delivery checklist.

As it turned out the mechanic backed the sled into the shop while I was there so that was easy, from there I asked them to let it idle for a few minutes to see if the grips got warm.

I did forget to check the chaincase oil level but I checked it at home and it was good.

The cat guys will be jealous that it actually made it onto the trailer without it sticking solid haha.
