Just want to thank all the sled guys and gal that stopped to help get my (probably totaled) sled back to the trailer, hopefully find out what made throttle engage itself (full or close to it) right before a corner, just a safety thing please wear teather if you have one and know how to use your kill switch as this was a freak thing 2 to maybe 5 seconds and the brakes will not overpower a 2013 skidoo xm with open throttle.
Good thing i have a back up sled got a feeling that one is toast.

Wow, not good, post a picture. Hope the sled is fixable. Tethers never seem to be on when they are needed.

The expensive repairs are the riders, equipment is cheap by comparison.

Ya Ian i was wearing teather but i was holding on for dear life as i was approaching a corner and i slammed on brakes but they faded fast and didn't even think about pulling teather or hitting kill button , maybe 2 to 5 seconds at most i thought i could ride it out of that corner.
Sled will be going to dealer tonite and when i get it off trailer will be taking some photos then and they will be getting factory involved as this was a new 13 xm so really great power too aprox 460 to 480 miles on it.
looked at throttle yesterday in heated trailer still appears to be stuck (kind of rules out ice/snow) but handle bars and post have now been relocated aft a ways back ,shure was not expecting anything like this on a nice and easy ride out from the cabin heading back to the truck to get everything ready for another ride saturday that didn't happen.
