well I was all geared up to go make some tracks today. one quick stop at the dealer for non resident stickers and we gone .................Except the idiots and Co state parks have'nt mailed the stcikes to the dealers or agents yet and the E store doesnt work so Im screwwed. I bet the FS ranger wouldnt care that they arent available and ticket me anyway.

I love Goverment!

I did get a laugh when the Dumbass at the couter told me "Just have them call me and I'll tell them you tried" HAHA yeah like that would happen. :face-icon-small-dis

The dummy at the other dealership told me the 48" wasnt enough snow to ride anyway ! Wow!

I need to open a dealership

ah man does that suck, good on ya for not naming names though, that just gets ugly for everybody!!!!!!

as for the guy who told you 4 ft wasnt enough to ride in?!?!?!?!?!
well that guy clearly doesnt know what its like to crack open the throttle for the first time after a long hot summer, and if he does know what its like......he must have been high on acid or some other powerful drugs......

F it !I think I going top go ride tomorrow anyway! They cant enforce a law they cant provide the method to comply with Right?....... Probably not but I will take my chances in court if it comes to that.

much to my surprize we did not see a FS ranger !Had a great ride Although I am way out of shape. the new pro ran like a top just like everyone said they do. good start to the season

Where did you ride? How much snow?

WOLF CREEK PASS ! the resort says 48" i think they measured in a hole or fold the first 12" over though. Probably 30+ in settled snow is the reality Nice base though and a good first ride on OCT. 9:face-icon-small-coo

Nice that you got out. I really doubt the FS will have anyone out. Not really worth it for their man hours.

With that, I think there is a law for a minimum amount of snow before you can legally ride. It is to protect soil underneath the snow. I was thinking it was 18" or something.

Wheres the pics? Glad you got to ride already.

My bad I didnt post it in here! this is the only pic I got visibility was poor with light snow all day

I called the FS to inquire and got not return so far the e-store still says the permits are unavailable
