Thanks Big John!!!

I just wanted to say thanks to Big John for steering me in the right direction. I had BJ set up my 09 XP 800 renagade for my first trip out west. He did a sweet setup and it worked great. I had a blast in the Big Horns and came home wanting more. I talked to him about streching my gad or going with a summit. He said to take the beating and get a summit. So I made the trade for a 09 800 Summit X 154. I can't wait to go back and get schooled all over again in riding in the MT's. I have been riding sleds in MN for years and never had as much fun as I did out west. I'm hooked and can't stop thinking about it. Thanks again for your honest opinion and work. Jeff

Yup, the little fella is pretty sharp! Just make sure YOU listen to him! He's got his 860 down pretty good! I was never one for picking a fight, but I'm gonna start! I can't wait to pull up to the next hill and send some more fella's "packing"

Renegade Setup

Just got back from the Horns myslef. Had my 800 and 600 renegades with 1.75" tracks and neither one worked as good as I wanted. Need to do some different clutching before I go again.

I did a simple top end and clutch re build and he set me up right!!

We put a set of summit ski's on and 6" risers on it. Did a little clutching for out west and dropped a jet size and it ran great. It pulled 8100 to 8200 all the time. I was in clicker # 3 all the time. It could of used a bigger track but that was it.

I am glad to hear this good talk about Big John since I just sent him my motor last thursday. He should be getting it pretty soon. Can't wait to get my sled fixed.
