And a special thank you to my father, a Norwegian immigrant who came to this country in 1926 with his Mother, Brother, and Sister to join my Grandfather who arrived here six months prior. A few months after their arrival my Grandfather was killed at work.
Then three years later the stock market crashed and the great depression was born. They were extremely poor but made ends meet somehow and then many years later, December 7th, 1941, changed the world forever. My father proudly served aboard the Destroyer Escort, USS Acree in the South Pacific hunting Japanese subs. Fast forward to today, my Father would never disrespect our flag, country, or anthem. And as I was brought up, neither will I. Rant over!
