Really enjoyed it also. maybe a little to much swimming and gymnastics tho. How about the Decathalon and basketball. Yea.

There were some great shows of sportsmanship this year, some great comments from the athletes about their patriotism, some great wins and of course, some humbling opps. Always proud...
Well the DNC is this week! If it could happen this would be the week!
When I see what we have to choose from for a leader I am sad and ashamed for this nation!

I've been glued to the Olympics. Been amazed by how many that don't even watch or care too. Including my own family. Cant get my wife and kids to get as excited as I do. Some great performances by several Americans that wasn't even favored. Good to see the basketball team redeem. Can't wait til the winter Olympics.

yeah i liked the water polo.... but the sport they need is underwater hockey my mom used to play it and you know how people say that the people in water polo are built the best, underwater hockey is prety much thesame thing but obviously underwater lol

that's just too weird to watch. The thing that irritates me is they will show that but not the US shooting team (many of which are enlisted men and women in the US Army marskmenship unit) in Skeet, Trap, or rifle and pistol competitions. But I guess that wouldn't fit to well with the theory that most major media has that the only thing guns are good for is killing innocent gang bangers.
There's a lot of it I don't find appealing either. I mostly like watching the swimming and track relays. Especially the 4 x 100 meter freestyle where we beat the French. That was awesome to see the French in disbelief.
Women's beach volleyball, in the rain. Nuf said
I really enjoyed the trampoline competition.......... no chit, bouncing on a trampoline is an olympic event. Wouldn't have believed it, but I saw it with my own eyes.

Kinda J I GG L Y to watch, but I got thru it.LOL.
The Basketball was fun to watch, other than the start times. I had to stay up till 3 in the morning Saturday to see the finish. The womens beach volleyball was also fun to watch. I found myself watching the Olympics almost every night.

I watched more Olympics this year than ever. The closing ceremony show last night was pretty cool to watch.
3 am is about when it started for me....I watched way too much olympics, and really messed up my sleep schedule.

Seeing the axe man himself, Jimmy Page, was awesome to see in the closing ceremonies.
It was good to see the Americans do well........
